GOLD's onsite VAULT provides items to meet basic needs including diapers, baby clothes and accessories, clothing and outerwear for all ages, emergency food bags, hygiene essentials, household items, and specific items to meet the needs who are homeless.
Distributing turkeys for Thanksgiving with our partners, the Worcester County Bar Association and Worcester County Department of Social Services. We also had help from three athletes from the Snow Hill High School football team!
It is only with the help from our generous caring community that Worcester County GOLD is able to provide assistance to so many families to brighten their holidays. Thank you for joining with us!
To assist children whose families do not have the means to purchase required school supplies, the community joins with Worcester County GOLD to provide the tools necessary to provide the opportunity for these children to be successful in their school work and to blend in with their peers.
GOLD's major fundraiser, GOLD on the Green, is held annually on the third Wednesday in June at the Ocean City Golf Club in Berlin, Maryland. Hope to see you there!
The annual Chili Cook-Off is held on the second Sunday in December at the Greene Turtle West in Ocean City, Maryland. Join us to taste each restaurant's special chili recipes, enjoy the antics of DJ BK, and root for your favorite football team... again, enjoy the delicious chili prepared by Ocean City's favorite restaurants - vote for your favorite! Admission is $10 or a new toy to benefit Helping Hands for the Holidays.
