G.O.L.D.'s Foster Grandparent Volunteers, supervised free child care in the child care room at Department of Social Services (120 visits in 2006)

G.O.L.D. sponsored two "Adopt a Family" Programs helping 465 needy children with school supplies and 931 needy individuals (mostly children) with holiday assistance in 2006.

G.O.L.D.'s Emergency Baby Pantries, located in Berlin and Snow Hill were stocked with diapers, formula, wipes, ointment, toys and blankets to be given away by social workers and public case managers.

G.O.L.D. provided Ensure and Depends to Seniors and the handicapped.
